Went into Honolulu this morning. Dropped into Ross's brought a couple of things. This is a store that has reduced prices. Some on well known brands.
Walked through the food markets. Bought a few veg.

We wanted to be back at the unit by 1.00pm to see the Ladies tennis semi finals which would have been relaxing in the cool of being inside. But then the announcement of it been postponed until tomorrow morning due to the rain hitting New York. We had a coffee and then decided to go down for a swim at 2.30pm after the heat of the mid day sun was starting to weaken if that's possible
The pool that we look down to from our balcony was having a party. The pool was closed off for the day while they set it all up with different tables, cooking food all round the venue and every one just walked round deciding what they wanted to eat. They all looked like ants walking round tasting food from one table to the next. We weren't invited!!!!!!!
This pool used to be the Ilikai's but they sold one of their buildings on the other side of the pool which was turned into an upmarket hotel and the pool had to go with it. When we used to come up here years ago it still belonged to the Ilikai and we used to swim in that pool but not allowed now.
Party still going. hope it doesn't go too late quite noisy.
Just a couple to finish the day off. Still no really brilliant sunsets yet but I am sure they will come and you will see them. I was a bit short of product for today's blog....
Pete just said going across the road for a minute. He didn't tell me where he was going. A few minutes later he arrived back with two McDonald's Apple pies. He started this last time we were up here but he hadn't mentioned it this time. naughty naughty!!! He loves them I find them a bit sweet. The Americans love their sugar. Most things are a lot sweeter than what we are used to....
I should add that there is going to be a build up of the military tomorrow Im sure due to 911. Only 1 warship today, one submarine and quite a few jets. Yes the submarine was hovering around for most of the day and then vanished!!! PT
