Anniversary day today so apart from going out to dinner tonight we didn't do much during the day, nice and relaxing.
Watched some tennis in the morning . Went down for a swim before lunch, then a bit more tennis in the afternoon. So mainly lots of photos today. Haven't seen a lot of tennis as we are out doing other things but hope to see more over the next few days. Finals this weekend.

The lagoon between the Ilikai and the Hilton Hotel which is on the other side of the lagoon. Our Hotel is this side and we walk around the lagoon to go to the beach we swim at on the other side of the lagoon in front of the Hilton. PT always looking out for "Paris"

The beach we swim at. Diamond head in the far distance. We have climbed to the top of that in previous years a couple of times. No need to do that again. Far too hot for that especially with the humidity we are having.

Looking across the lagoon our swimming beach over behind. This is taken from where we walk down the ramp from our Hotel then we walk around the lagoon to our swimming beach on the far side. Not far to walk for a swim
This is the Ilikai pool. Bruce and Linda swam here but we prefer the sea. Haven't used the pool yet.

This shows the restaurant where we had our flash anni meal right on top of the building. The box at the top.
To get to the top we have to go up the outside lift which goes up and down the blue stripe in the corner of the building. PT didn't like that . Great views from the top about 30th floor.

Sitting at our table looking across the harbour and up the coast. Sun just going down but no sunset tonight although it was a brilliant day. Probably the hottest we have had 32/33 degrees. High humidity near the nineties.
Our table was in a booth all to ourselves, very nice.

Mains, a lot nicer than it looks. PT's left, is a mushroom asparagus and tuna risotto. Mine right, was so yummy lobster tail, scallops, cockles laid on a very nice Paella, with all sorts in it.
We didn't have dessert but the waiter brought us this lovely little cake out for our anni. The staff were great, all making a fuss over us and going by saying happy anniversary when they went past. PT must have mentioned it when he went up and booked. He told the staff that he had told me we were going to Mcdonalds!!!!! Only he could say that....
We had a great quiet day, and a great meal doing all of the above.
