WEDNESDAY 16th SEPTEMBER
This morning took off to Honolulu again for a couple of hours to get a couple of things. Back for lunch in the unit, then down for a few swims. Busy all day but not much to write about.
Decided to have another meal downstairs at the Ilikai Hotel where we had a meal with Bruce and Linda. The service wasn't as good the waitress seemed to get things wrong. Brought me the wrong drink then we were sharing one entre between us which we had asked for to have while we were having our drinks but that arrived the same time as the mains. Strange, we had to eat everything together. Not as good as when we went with B and L and of course missed the company. Shrimps on pasta.
This is the first sign of a decent sunset since B and L left because of the rain towards the west. Very unusual. We couldn't really see what it was like as we were eating our meal so just stood up at the table and took the photo through the yacht masts. Might have looked better if we had been upstairs.
THURSDAY 17th SEPTEMBER
Not a lot happening today but still plenty to do. Walked over to Ala Moana shopping centre to get a few things . Had a look at unit 1904 in The Ilikai Hotel just two along from where we were previously. Just getting some ideas to stay for the future. I am sure we will be back again some time. Although we are enjoying the marina as the units are a bit bigger and higher ceilings. No good photos today haven't been anywhere except shop and swim...
Just a few more shots to try and explain more of our unit.
Top and Bottom showing how small the deck is. This is the biggest downfall after the last unit with its big deck which was good for drying all the wet swimming gear and drying the washing. Nowhere here for that it would probably end up on the road below.

Corner unit is good. Makes it feel bigger and lighter. and below is the view out of the side window.
This also shows how far we walk to the the beach for a swim. Walk along the road to the lagoon, then around the lagoon over the other side to the beach . Peter can see me swimming with his binos and when he sees me walking home along the road puts the kettle on, hows that for service. Also on the far side of the lagoon is where the Hilton Hotel have their massive fireworks at 7.45pm every Friday. We will get a great view from here tomorrow night.

Linda you will be pleased to see we manage a reasonable sunset tonight but hopefully better to come before we leave next Wednesday.
